Monster Jam’s standalone event at the GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO, on Saturday gave us some thrilling highlights, with Son-uva Digger’s Ryan Anderson capping off the night with the Freestyle and Overall wins.
The night kicked off with Tristan England (JCB DIGatron) winning the aptly named JCB Racing competition, thanks to a win over Cory Rummell (Megalodon) in the final.

In the Great Clips 2-Wheel Skills Challenge, three different Monster Jam trucks received scores above a 9, with half of the field scoring in the 8’s or above. However, it was Adam Anderson (Grave Digger) who took home the competition win. Ryan Anderson placed second and, having made it to the semi-finals in the JCB Racing competition, was in the points fight when it came to Freestyle.

In Freestyle, both Anderson brothers brought the heat, tying with scores of 9.651. The scores would have to be tallied to the fourth decimal place, at which point the competition went the way of Ryan Anderson, earning him the Freestyle and Overall Event wins.
