Minneapolis Update

Authored by Monster Jam on November 11, 2022

The preparations have begun at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis for the return of Monster Jam®. The first of more than 300 truckloads of dirt have been delivered and crews are working around the clock to groom the surface for the weekend. Monster Jam last appeared in the Twin Cities in December 2013.

For the first time ever, fans will have two chances to see the adrenaline charged family entertainment on one weekend with shows on Saturday (Dec. 10) at 7 p.m. and Sunday (Dec. 11) at 3:30 p.m. Each show will be preceded by a Pit Party, giving special access to the drivers for pictures and autographs.

Tickets are still available with Sunday tickets starting at $15.

The 2016 lineup is among the best to ever visit the area. Eleven-time World Champion Tom Meents will bring the newly designed Max-DTM to the shows in search of repeating his 2006 Minneapolis Double Down win. Former Minneapolis winners include Linsey Weenk (Lucas Oil CrusaderTM), Ryan Anderson (Son-uva Digger®) and Adam Anderson (Grave Digger®). The weekend will see the debut of the Great Clips Mohawk WarriorTM Monster Truck with rookie driver Bryce Kenny making his stadium debut. The recently unveiled design change of Monster Energy® will certainly get attention, but the truck will be there, vying for the competition win. Driver Damon Bradshaw will be seeking his first Minneapolis championship. He began his Monster Jam career in 2006 with a Minneapolis appearance and worked his way to the racing finals in the last Minneapolis show in 2013.
