about
- What are some of your interests/hobbies/favorite pastimes?
I am a certified adrenaline junkie. I’m a pretty diversified person in life because I can go from riding motocross to a yoga class in the same day. I love to be outside on my mountain bike, go-kart, longboard or whatever else it may be that has an engine. I also enjoy being in the water on my paddleboard or wakeboard. I spend a lot of my time doing Crossfit to stay strong and healthy. I love trying new things and set new goals in each sports. - Who are your role models?
Shirley Muldowney and Ashley Fiolek. - Do you have any ‘pre-show’ rituals you run through?
Before each show, I talk to my crew guy on the radio and we sing a song and we find out it always give some good result out on the track. - What’s something a lot of people don’t know about you?
I love to operate heavy equipment after each Monster Jam show and I love to weld with my Lincoln Electric equipment. - What is your most prized possession?
My family will always be the most prized possession I have. Nothing could ever replace what they mean to me.
life on the road
- What is the best and worst thing about being on the road every weekend with Monster Jam?
The best thing is definitely being able to travel all around the world, see new cultures, try new food and getting to meet all the Monster Jam fans around the world. The worst part is definitely to be far from home and to miss all those family moments. - While on the road, what is your favorite thing to do during your free time?
I love to try new gyms, new restaurants and any other activities. I really enjoy getting out and exploring and get to know more about to culture of my destination. - How do you keep fit?
After being severely injuring my knee and shoulder after a motocross accident, I learned really fast the importance of having a strong and healthy body, especially when you practice extreme sports. So, in the last couple of years, I been doing a lot of Crossfit and other training to not only put me on the best shape but to push my limit every day to be the best of myself. - What item(s) can you not live without while traveling on the road with Monster Jam?
My GoPro or iPhone to be able to capture those awesome memories while I’m on the road. - What is your favorite city to travel to? Why?
This is a hard question for me because I love so many cities in this world.
career
- How did you get started competing in Monster Jam?
I was racing Motocross at the Pro level when I got injured two years in a row. The injuries were bad enough that after my surgery recovery I had to make a cross on my motocross schedule. So I got the chance to start travelling with a Monster Jam truck team for a year and got to work on the truck a little bit to learn more about the sport. But it is after my first Monster Jam World Final in Las Vegas that I promised myself one day it would be me on that track racing. And after showing my excitement and my motivation on becoming the first Canadian women driver for Monster Jam I got my opportunity in the Maple Leaf Tour in 2015. - What is your favorite part about competing in Monster Jam?
My favorite thing is definitely be the driving part but I would say that the influence we get on kids is the best part for me. When I see a little girl tell me how much she looks up to me and how she wants to become a driver later in life is the most rewarding thing. We even get to do some special visits to sick kids in the hospital to put a smile on their face and those moments are the best part of my job for sure. - How would you describe your driving style?
My driving style is reflecting the way I feel most of the time. - What advice would you give to kids who want to become a Monster Jam driver?
I would say everything is possible in life. You just need to put your mind to it and work really hard to get to your dream and never give up. - What is your greatest memory as a Monster Jam driver?
I have had so many good memories in two years already but I would say my first show is always be the best moment for me. It was a non-dirt show in the smallest area possible in New Hampshire and during my first past of racing over a crush car, I went upside down and I found a way with a good reaction to save it and I won the race. The crowd was so excited and loud after this victory my heart was pumping so fast, but the smile on my face was so big. - Who in Monster Jam do you look up to for inspiration?
There are so many good drivers out there but Coty Saucier as in my mind is one, has taken one of the most impressive paths in the industry.
